P.S. I Love You

So, today I watched P.S. I Love You

The story is just about this Holly (Hillary Swank) who married Gerry (Gerrard Butler) for few years, and that they haven't had any children. And yeah, they fight quite a lot, but reconciliate just as fast as they start the fight.

And yeah, Gerry is romantic =))

And the scene suddendly jumps into winter (about christmas time), into Gerry's funeral. WOW, that is a funeral. Just like a party or sumthing.. Another funny character is Denyse (Lisa Kudrow) who are looking for men :P

Holly's life trembles; even she forgets her own birthday. Her mom and friends come up and that's when Gerry's letters starting to arrive =)


The first letter comes with a cake, and Gerry asked her to go out and have fun for her birthday.
This is where it differs from the novel...

In the novel (although I only read 6 chapters), the letters arrived by Holly's mom, who asked Holly to come and pick the letters up. But in the movie, the way the letter comes... so romantic =)

The story continues, and Holly's always waiting for Gerry's letter to come. In the meantime, there is a little bit of romance of Daniel (who likes Holly so much) and one guy which name I forgot (who once had sex with her). Haha.


And finally, one climax is that when Daniel and Holly are in a restaurant. And Holly always talks about Gerry, which make Daniel ill-feel... And the scene ends when Daniel left her.

"I'm Daniel, not Danny."


LOL.

Holly comes to her mom and cries. Then they two take a walk in the park.

Holly's mom:
"There are two things which hurt parents the most. The first thing is that when they lose their child. The second one is when they see the child feels the same thing as they did before... but there's nothing they could do."

Oh, damn...

And she gives a letter to Holly. Gerry's last letter.

One part I like the most:
"I'm just one chapter in your life. There are more."


Arrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhh.......................!!!!!!!!!

That sentence makes me cry =(


So... That's it.

Then, Holly returns and meets Daniel at a stadium.

She gave Gerry's letter to Daniel to see.
Oh yah! That's when the letter is read... haha, sorry I forgot bout this :D

And they kiss.

But what Daniel says:
"I feel like kissing my own sister."

And Holly feels the same too.
So funny xD

That's it. They become friends, just friends forever (maybe).


The film ends when Holly brings her mom to sumthing-National-Park where she first met Gerry. There, they meet this-nameless-guy-who-had-sex-with-Holly and his dad. And I think Holly's mom likes this guy and the otherwise :P
